Summary
The subject is focused on the issue of building information modelling (BIM), which is a modern tool for planning, building and using the building. The basis of BIM technology is an elaborate digital model of the building, which, among other things, contains all the data incorporated throughout the life cycle of the building. The training focuses on mastering the basis of work in a relevant software environment (Autodesk Revit) and understanding the importance of BIM in modern construction.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The student will acquire the basic knowledge and skills to build a Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the Autodesk Revit software environment. These skills will be acquired and deepened during the exercise as part of the implementation of the BIM project. At the same time, the student will also understand the importance of BIM in modern construction in accordance with the concept of the introduction of BIM in the Czech Republic.
