Summary |
---|
The subject will make students acquainted with the basis of engineering
applications and computational methods of mechanics of rigid body and rigid
body systems. For pedagogical reasons, statics, kinematics and dynamics is
discussed separately. Students train logical engineering thinking. The main aid
is to simplify the view on a mechanical system. The concepts of equilibrium
during both static state and movement and principles of making free body
diagrams of bodies and body systems will become the main elements of this
thinking. Very important is to elucidate the basic concepts of engineering
mechanics for being able to communicate easily with mechanical engineers in
practice. |
