Summary
The instruction is focused on mastering vocabulary, grammar and phrases in the given scope. Speaking, reading, listening, comprehension and writing are used to meet the set goals. A student will be able to give a detailed description of his / her daily programme in the past, ask about directions, describe a house interior, express quantity and discuss international cuisine.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to create a grounding of general language with the output level A1-A2 (full-time as well as part-time) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

English File Elementary: Units 7 - 9

1. Past simple of be: was/ were, word formation
2. Past simple – regular verbs, past time expressions
3. Past simple – irregular verbs
4. Practical English: directions
5. Past simple – regular / irregular verbs
6. There is / there are, some / any + plural nouns, the house
7. There was / there were, prepositions: place and movement
8. Revise and Check 7 + 8
9. Countable and uncountable nouns, a / an, some / any
10. Food
11. Quantifiers: how much/how many, a lot of, etc.
12. Comparative adjectives
13. At a restaurant: reading menus
14. Credit test
