Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The aim of the subject is to make students familiar with physiological and subsequently pathological functions of man’s organism. |

- Body fluid regulation and disorders of water and acid-base balance
- Metabolism and metabolic carbohydrates, proteins, fats, purines
- Nutrition, vitamins, nutritional disorders
- Physiology of blood, blood disorders, and hematopoietic system
- Coronary circulation and its disorders
- Atherosclerosis
- Conduction system disorders, arrhythmias
- Physiology of the heart and circulation, heart failure, thromboembolic disease
- Hypertension, nervous system disorders
- Physiology of respiration, respiratory tract disorders
- Physiology of kidney and renal failure, Endocrinology
- Physiology of digestion, digestive tract disorders |
