Summary |
---|
The course deals with the description and use of electronic devices used specifically in biomedicine. It follows the basic subject of electrical measurements, which is taught in the first year of bachelor study. It provides measuring instruments for measuring both electrical and non-electrical quantities. Selected signal parameter measurements are performed in time and frequency domains. Part of the course is also measurement of signals in digital systems by a logical analyzer. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
The aim of the subject is to educate students in basic electronic measurement techniques, especially in biomedicine. The students should be able to make an evaluation of the measured system functionality on the basis of theoretic system analysis and performed measurements. To introduce the principles of gauges in the biomedical instrumentation. |
