Summary
This course is an introduction to the problems of e-business. The content of the course is a description of the business direction, marketing, inventory control, logistics, finance and related issues in the areas of e-business.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the principles of electronic commerce and trading. The course is technically oriented, focusing on practical implementation issues presented. Students will acquire knowledge of basic concepts and guidelines for trading, marketing and design marketing strategies in the Internet environment, customer care, inventory records, logistics, accounting, electronic payment and banking channels (electronic, direct), legislation and related laws, business forms and legal personality. After completing the course, students will be able to draw up business plans for its implementation and to put into operation, will be able to design marketing and advertising campaigns, materialize their profitability and to realize the necessary steps to successfully completing a business plan for sales and services on the Internet.
Course Contents
Lectures:
• The lines of business on the Internet, modern lines of business, explaining the basic concepts (B2B, B2C, B2G, etc.)
• Specification of the business plan, valuation of costs and benefits, feasibility project
• Pricing policy, methods of determining prices, the European Union, estimated costs associated with the implementation of business plan
• inventory control and logistics inventory, basic principles, calculations, records, legislation
• Monitoring statistics web applications, basic indicators, SEO optimization, testing, quality of treatment site due to the business plan
• Marketing in the Internet, advertising campaigns, monitoring their success and utilization
• Legal forms for e-business trading privileges, franchises, commercial and civil code in relation to e-business, privacy, rights and obligations under the European Union
• Image and corporate identity, computer design, logos, corporate identity, corporate manuals, user interface
• Electronic payment channels, receive electronic payments, credit cards, bank transfers, electronic banking and its linkages with the financial applications, interbank relations, foreign payments
• Customer Care, CRM systems, supply, demand, claims, service, helpdesk, basics of communication with customers
• Organization and management of IT / IS outsourcing, outplacement, offshoring
• Managerial skills, teamwork, organization of group work, project management, planning
• Financing the business plan, credit, loans, grants, incubators
Filling exercise:
The aim of exercise is to demonstrate practical examples of issues presented in lectures, student test positions: the owner of the business plan of a programmer, marketing analyst, financial advisor, customer, employee customer care center.
Student Activity exercises are geared to their own creative work, initiative, discussion, critical perspective on the subject. Students should be able to defend a business plan, critically and constructively contribute to solving the problems of other students.
