Summary |
---|
Electric devices can cause electric shock and also considerable property
damage. These states caused by failures e.g. inexpert manipulating and
direction breach can be reducted by prevention. Student will know main
principles of preventive organisation and technical activity. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Students will be acquainted with the basic preventative measures to minimize the risk of appearance of the failures and its results in electrical devices. |
Course Contents |

Lectures:
1. Legal aspects of safety in the work on electrical equipment and safety of electrical equipment and electrical products, overview of laws and regulations in electrical laws with detailed focus on prevention of electrical equipment.
2. BOZP – Duties of the risks, arising from the work on electrical equipment.
3. Safe electrical installation.
4. Safe operation of electrical equipment.
5. Safe work on electrical equipment.
6. Overvoltage protection.
7. Protection against lightning – General principles.
8. Protection against lightning – Physical damage to structures and life hazard.
9. Protection against lightning – Risk manamegent.
10. Fire protection buildings – industrial buildings.
11. Fire protection buildings - Non-industrial buildings.
12. Eliminating the risk of explosion.
13. Non Explosion electrical equipment.
14. Consultation, examination questions, credits.
