Telecommunication networks development abroad and in Czech republic, telecommunication networks characteristic, quality requirements in telecommunication networks and terminal equipments, services quality, losses, emergency, reliability, radio and television network, networks VDS, VRS, JSSN, standardization and telecommunication equipment homology, terminal equipment parameter measurement, attestation proceedings.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Understand the function of telecommunications terminal equipment.

Learning outcomes are set so that the students are able to identify and apply tasks in the field of telecommunications terminal equipment.
Course Contents
Lectures:
Research and development in The Czech Republic.
The basic parameters of telecommunication networks.
Technical and economical aspects networks. Optimalization.
QoS of ended terminals.
Network topology.
Network dimensioning.
Network controlling, maintenance of end terminals.
Transfer attenuation, transmission equivalent.
Transfer services. LAN, VDS.
PRN - public radio network, JSSN, end terminals.
Radio and TV networks, cable networks and end terminals.
Network synchronisation.
Network compatibility.
Standardisation and certification.
