Summary |
---|
The scope of work experience student is purposeful preparation in a particular project, financial, technical, etc. department of company. Companies are carefully selected to supervise the study program and the faculty management. Consequently, students are offered a choice in the approved list. Every year, verifies and quality of the company, assesses the appropriateness of the content and focus of the company and its requirements for students to be in line with the objectives of the program. Its activities and tasks, students in practice is also continuously monitored and evaluated by the teacher.
Students thus greatly complement their theoretical knowledge acquired in previous study subjects and acquire the necessary practical skills that will enhance their prospects in the labor market. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Student after completing the course to know the principles and the principles of individual and team work primarily on specific technical implementation projects. The aim of the course is to acquaint the student with the running of the firm, with their "culture", with professional problems solved and projects. Students gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field they studied design of electrical equipment, but also the knowledge of company management.

1. Introduction to occupational health and safety (OHS) legislation and guidance of students performing controlled practice / internship in a company according acclaimed list, delimitation of competences, teacher observations.
2. Introduction to the objectives and content of practice / internship, when simultaneously entered and thesis of the company where the practice is carried out, determining the technical consultant for this work.
3. Organisational issues related to the practical activities outside the workplace VSB-Technical University of Ostrava.
4. Fill and scope of the final report of work experience / internships.
5. Presentation of the results of the student practice / internship within the department and had performed in front of students.
