Syllabus of lectures:
Definition science. Scientific knowledge. Characteristic features of modern science. Types of research. Research in health care.
Terminology science and research. Financial and legislative context in scientific research.
The definition of the concept of research and its species. Principles of experimentation in technology and medicine.
Science, scientific approach, the scientific method, scientific theory. Basic and applied research, and their specific requirements. financing options
Introducton to the research process, goals, opportunities, legislation, accessibility, practical information.
Research problems, research questions, research hypotheses. Types of clinical trials, randomized and nonrandomized studies, studies with crossover design and a factorial design, single, double and triple blind studies, open-label study.
Study sources and literature and information sources with regard to the availability of information, credibility and relevance of information. Electronic Resources research work. search on the Internet, in library catalogs in bibliographic systems.
