Summary
The subject is focused on improvement and advancement of knowledge about specific problems of industrial design in the automotive industry and also ergonomic, economic, social, environmental and other aspects. The most important is to teach students to think in context.
Become familiar with:
Historical aspects automobile design
Ergonomic studies and analysis of the shape of sports car
Work in the studio - drawn designs, creating a 3D model using the Clay
visualization project
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will be able / have knowledge of this issue:
to know specific problems of industrial design in automobile industry;
to know historical aspects of automobile design;
to include in design the economical, social, and environmental aspects;
to know the bases of industrial design documentation – visual representation.
Course Contents
1. Subject is in the first phase focused on the understanding of artistic expression means of drawing and modeling.
2. Further, the student is acquainted with the basics of the design work methodology, including all the necessary steps involved in the design process.
3. The process of shaping is preceded by environmental analysis, ergonomic analyzes, the basics of psychology, ecology and marketing. Emphasis is placed on the application of innovative materials and the development of the student's ability to think in the broader possible context.
4. In the practical part the students learn the basics of the drawing.
5. There follows a theory and practice of drawing perspective.
6. Drawing a model in a linear perspective.
7. Drawing a model in a two-point perspective.
8. Drawing a model in a arial perspective
9. Research of the final assignment.
10.Product design in drawing form.
11.Making model of product in scale from clay.
