Summary
The basis of this subject is in problems with methods of measurement electrical and non-electrical variables. It’s sensors, convertors, or methods of measurement for measure purposes and control technological actions, focused on control of metallurgical processes. This course is connected on subject called „Hardware of Control Systems“.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student will be able to formulate the basic principles of sensors.
Student will be able to identify characteristics of sensors.
Student will be able to demonstrate functions of sensors.
Student will be able to analyze problems of technical application of sensors.

3. Resistive sensors - types, principles, applications.
4. Ionization sensors.
5. Induction sensors.
6. Magnetic sensors.
7. Capacitive sensors.
8. Hall sensors.
9. Generator inductive sensors.
10. Piezoelectric sensors.
11. Industrial temperature measurement.
12. Industrial pressure measurement.
13. Industrial flow measurement.
14. Industrial water level measurement
