Summary
The course is focused on obtaining a basic overview of business law. It encompasses in particular the conditions and framework of business, the characteristics of an industrial enterprise, an entrepreneur, and the basic terms associated with it.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The student will:
- be knowledgeable in the field of business regulation.

The student will acquire:
- an overview of the sources of commercial law and their system,
- basic knowledge of the objectives and functions of industrial enterprises.
Course Contents
1. Legal framework of business - basic concepts, sources.
2. Entrepreneur.
3. Organizational and legal forms of business.
5. Establishment and termination of a business company.
4. Trade business.
5. Business companies - Open Company, Limited Partnership.
6. Trading companies - Joint-Stock Company, Limited Liability Company.
7. Trading companies - European Economic Interest Grouping and European Joint Stock Company.
8. Nature and objectives of economics of industrial enterprises.
9. Typology of enterprises.
10. Life cycle of an industrial enterprise.
