Summary |
---|
The aim of the subject is to learn possibilities of computer aided quality management. Students will become familiar with selected software and their possibilities and learn to solve problems of quality management with using spreadsheet Excel. Emphasis is put on the correctness of the solution procedure and the correct interpretation of results. |

- to categorize the types of software used in the quality management
- to identify the possibility of using a spreadsheet Excel in quality management
- to apply spreadsheet Excel for data processing
- to create an Excel application for the field of quality management and correctly interpret the results.

1. Fields of using computer aided quality management.
2. Types of software in the field of computer aided quality management.
3. Spreadsheet Excel and possibilities of its use for quality management tasks solution.
4. Work with data files, data import and export. Data verification.
5. Data sorting and filtering.
6. Work with tables. Conditional formatting.
7. Calculations in Excel, use of relative and absolute addresses.
8. Exploratory data analysis. Graphical presentation of data.
9. Excel functions and their use in the quality management.
10. Excel analytical tools.
11. Contingency tables and their use in the quality management.
12. Processing of special Excel applications.
13. Other software products for various quality management fields
