Summary |
---|
The subject of the course is to start the solution of the diploma thesis under the guidance of a supervisor or a consultant. The subject acquaints students with the process of searching and processing of literary sources. The course examines the student's ability to analyze the problem, propose a method of solving and demonstrate an individual engineering approach to solving the problem, logical and creative thinking, working with literature and using the theoretical knowledge gained during study. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Students will be able:
- to describe the basic principles related to the topic of the diploma thesis
- competently work with the professional literature
- to use their knowledge to information retrieval on the topic of the diploma thesis
- to design method of solving, prepare an experiment and evaluate obtained data
- to apply of theoretical and practical knowledge in the processing of the diploma thesis

Course Contents |
---|
• Analysis of the project topic, processing of literary research.
• Formulation of the project goals, design of solution methods and specification of necessary resources.
• Preparation of experiment and design of algorithms for data evaluation.
• Studying and analyzing information from the literature, writing the theoretical part of the work related to problem analysis, preparation, execution and evaluation of the experiment.
• Continuous monitoring of the current information sources from the area solved.
• Continuous consultation with the supervisor or consultant of the diploma thesis.
