Students will be acquainted with the basic properties of soils and their characteristics, with the potential risks of soil hazards, with the process of soil degradation and contamination, as well as with the possibilities of soil remediation and decontamination. Exercises will be designed in the form of discussion panels on partial soil problems, practical calculations and presentation and defense of seminar papers followed by discussion.
