Summary |

Design of parts and units of transport machines and lifting equipment on the basis of
technological assignment student performs technological calculations and strength
calculations necessary for the processing of construction and design proposals.
Based on the assigned topic, each student independently performs the design and necessary technological and strength calculations, which are further used for the design of parts or units of transport machines, handling equipment or lifting equipment.
Graduates of the course solve technological and strength calculations needed for the final processing of structural and design proposals. Processing of the design solution is assumed in a 3D modeler on a PC. Students submit the final solution electronically in 2D in DWG format. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge about the requirements for the construction of transport equipment in order to complete medium-sized structural groups.
Design of selected parts and units of transport machines and lifting equipment based on technological assignments, the student performs general technological calculations and strength calculations needed to process simpler construction and design proposals, including transport calculations of capacity, quantity and risk with respect to ergonomic and safety aspects.
Based on the assigned topic, each student independently performs the design and necessary technological and strength calculations, which are further used for the design of parts or units of transport machines, handling equipment or lifting equipment.
