Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The aim of the bachelor study branch „Aeronautical Maintenance Technology” - to familiarize students with the subject AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING PRACTICE 2 (AMEP 2). To teach students the theoretical foundations necessary for practice in the aircraft maintenance environment. Understand and apply the different parts of accounts in accordance with mandated European standards. |

Understand the principles of safe working practices including precautions for Welding, Brazing, Soldering and Bonding. Methods of soldering, inspection of soldered joints. Methods of welding and brazing; Inspection of welded and brazed joints. Bonding methods and inspection of bonded joints
Detection of aircraft weight and balance - JAR OPS regulatory requirements and their fulfillment. Findings reactions and calculate the limits of gravity. Preparation of the Protocol on aircraft weighing (using the appropriate documentation). Preparing aircraft for weighing and weighing their own aircraft
Aircraft handling and storage in the activity includes - Taxiing, towing and associated safety measures. Aircraft jacking - chocking, securing and associated security measures. Aircraft storage methods. Procedures / discharge fuel. Procedures defrost / protinámrazového treatment. Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic ground supplies. Effects of environmental conditions on aircraft handling and operation
Disassembly, inspection, repair, aircraft maintenance repair business environment for aircraft maintenance and process re-assembly of components on the plane: a) Types of defects and visual inspection. Corrosion removal, assessment of damage and re-protection. b) General repair methods, Structural Repair Manual, aging, control programs fatigue and corrosion.
Introduction to the principles of non-destructive inspection methods and devices for using the test covering - Capillary, X-ray method for detecting defects, eddy currents, ultrasound and Boroskopické methods.
Methods of disassembly and assembly of components during operation of large modern transport aircraft. The detection and troubleshooting repair hangar outside environment and to ensure trouble-free condition of the aircraft, as well as their reliability
