Summary
Students acquire knowledge, which enables them to make a detailed summary and analysis of the problems, they are solving technological calculation and strength properties needed for final processing constructional propsal. Are acquire knowledges from proposal and structural design part and whole traffic and handling device.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
During the completion of the course "Design Exercises", students will acquire basic skills as follows: advanced knowledge of design work on a PC (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCad); good technical thinking and creativity; mutual communication skills (the need for mutual cooperation for the final implementation of a structural unit consisting of partial design tasks) and organizational skills (the need to work with websites and search for offered 3D models from manufacturers or suppliers).
Students will master the transferable and applicable requirements needed for quality design work: active approach, creative thinking, effective communication, cooperation, creativity and cooperation, flexibility, performance, independence, problem-solving ability, planning and organizing work, leadership and teamwork, workload management, discovery and orientation in information, lifelong learning.

The aim of the course is to complete the knowledge of the design of partial parts and machinery of transport, handling, lifting and process equipment with a focus on individual assignment of the topic of the final bachelor's thesis. The course is focused on the summary and analysis of required knowledge in the field of design of strength and technological parts and units of transport machines, lifting and handling equipment. The course aims to deepen the knowledge of construction and design, while respecting the necessary regulations and standards in the field of safety. Processing is expected on a PC with possible simulation of ongoing processes.
Design and construction solution of parts and units of transport machines and lifting equipment based on
technological assignment.
Graduates of the course solve technological and strength calculations necessary for the final processing of construction and design proposals. Processing is assumed on a PC.
Course Contents
