Summary
The subject is a part of the specialization, which deals with the construction of energy equipment with a focus on the construction of steam boilers and steam generators. The subject is mainly focused on the use of DEZ fuel and heat, especially on the design of equipment for the use of waste heat for various heat aggregates mainly in metallurgy and on the use of waste gas of gas engines.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject concerns boilers utiziling waste head behind various heat agregates primarily in metalurgy and behind gas motors
Course Contents
1.definition of waste heat, the distribution of secondary energy sources (DEZ)
2.the possibility of using heat from combustion gases for combustion turbine, flue gas boilers without and with post-combustion
3.the possibility of using waste heat from various units (smelters, steel mills)
