Summary
The examination closes the 4-term course of Russian at intermediate level linking up to secondary school instruction.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the exam is to demonstrate the knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary necessary for the competent conversation in Russian at intermediate level with the emphasis put on oral and written communication including telephoning. Working out curriculum vitae in Russian. Acquring the knowledge of the language with the output level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Course Contents
Ruština nejen pro samouky. Lessons 14-31
1.The text “На даче”, “Гостиница”. Conjugation of verbs of the type мочь, помочь. Verbs ending in -овa/-eвa. Inflection of adjectives. Ordinals. Year. Date.
2. The texts “Как доехать до центра?”. Practising expressions for finding a way around the city. Conjugation of verbs of the type вернуть (ся). Conjugation of verbs of the type идти, ехать and problems of using prefix variants.
3. The text “Где вы живете?”. Summary of verbs. Imperative. Conversation on Housing. Expression of Czech “like”. Inflection of nouns of the type площадь.
4. The text “Приятного аппетита!” Conjugation of verbs of the type есть, пить. Conversation on Dining. Working with the text “Расскажу вам про покупки”. Irregular verbs: дать. Infinitive questions. Numerals двести ... тысяча, миллион. Conversation on Shopping.
5. The text “Мне нездоровится”. Particle ли. Nouns with a stem ending in ж, ш, ч, ц, щ. Noun stress. Irregular verbs: принять. The text “Пражская весна решила их судьбу”.
6. The text “Собачий холод”. Conversation on Weather. Declension of basic numerals. Conditional. Conditional sentences. Verbs ending in -нуть.
7. The text “Я предпочитаю поезд самолёту”. Telling the time. Verbs of motion. Special features of masculine nouns in the plural. Irregular verbs: бежать.
8. The text “Женщина за рулём”. Expressions of the type трудно, важно ...- it is difficult, it is important ... Declension of personal pronouns. Irregular verbs: нести, вести, упасть.
9. The text “Как вы проводите своё свободное время?”. Conjuctions чтобы, для того чтобы, вместо того чтобы – to, in order to, instead of. Irregular verbs: давать. 6th case (locative) of all of masculine nouns ending in -у/-ю.
10. The text “Что вам (не) понравилось в России”. The text “Что говорят звезды о человеке?”. Conjunctions: и, а, но. Pronouns: весь, вся, всё, все.
11. Comparison of adjectives and adverbs. Regular comparative forms. Subject to be compared. Irregular comparative forms.
12. The text “Моя автобиография”. Gender inflection. Verbal aspect. Some problems when using verb aspect. The main differences in the use of verb aspect in Russian and Czech.
13. The text "Без труда не вытащишь и рыбку из пруда". Conjunctions neither, neither-nor. Superlative of adjectives and adverbs. Pronouns самый аnd сам. The difference between сам-один.
14. The texts "Новый сотрудник", "Деловой этикет".
