Summary
The student will acquire competencies in the field of methodology, legislation, technology and procedures in air traffic control.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to characterize the elementary components of the air traffic management system (air traffic services, air traffic flow management and airspace management) and to deal with the cooperation between them, the technologies and procedures used.

Course Contents
Ensuring the safe conduct of flights.
Safe, smooth and efficient flight operations.
The implementation of instrument flight conditions and visibility.
Air Traffic Services and their distribution.
The organization of air traffic flow and airspace.
Reports of air traffic services, their form and content.
Separation between aircraft, ATC clearance.
Capacity and throughput.
Aeronautical Information Service.
Automated Systems and ATC simulators
