Summary
Mechanization and handling devices and equipment, special mechanisms for mechanization of loading operations in transport, storage and storage. Transport performance of devices and devices operating in cyclic or continuous mode. The whole subject is divided into basic units - 1st transport, material handling, logistics
2. Equipment for cyclical transport
3. Continuous transport equipment
4. Piping equipment - pneumatic and hydraulic transport
5. Special equipment in transport - loaders, unloaders and tippers
6. Warehouses and storage facilities
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
In the course "Technology and Storage System Technology in Transport" the students will become acquainted with the technology of goods handling (material) during loading operations and warehouses. It also acquaints itself with the technical base needed for technology implementation.
The course focuses on the following areas:
- the role and place of material handling,
- properties of the material to be handled, in particular bulk materials,
- equipment for mechanization of handling operations,
- special equipment for the mechanization of loading operations in rail, road and combined transport,

- construction and technical modifications for the use of machinery,
- warehousing and storage, system design of complex mechanization,
- technical and economic evaluation of handling operations,
- the safety of work when carrying out handling operations.
