Summary
This subject deals mainly with the development of airports, European aviation legislations
in connection with the airport, operating areas parameters, terminals, visual navigation aids, logistics, winter operations, fire protection and measures to protect the environment.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject´s goal is to achieve the necessary competencies by the students of the aviation operational study branch focused on the issues of airports operation within the commercial air transport.

4. The terminal building
5. Protection against unlawful acts
6. Continuity of air transport to other transport modes
7. Noise pollution around the airports
8. Monitoring and evaluation of noise
9. Effect of an airport on the air quality
10. Protection of land resources, waste management
11. Occurrence of birds - the impact on the air traffic safety
