Summary |
---|
This object continues on ČaMS and it requires knowledge of the Basic Machinery
and the Graphic Systems together. The aim of the object is to learn students
how to design a simply engineering output which consists of several basic
parts. They have to check its steadiness, functionality and reliability. An
integral part of the project is a technical documentation. This documentation
is created with utilization of PC (AutoCAD, MS Office). Student has to master
the complete construction cycle – proposal, sketch, calculation and producing
of technical documentation. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Construction design of a chosen construction unit aimed at to master working out corresponding design and technical documentation. Formal preparation for creating of a bachelor thesis. |
Course Contents |
---|
An identification with principles of works on the project. Designer, drafter and engineering inspection jobs. Software equipment.
Basic rules for creating of a technical documentation. Drawings.
The technical report, its structuring, numbering, the list of references.
Assignment of the half-yearly project: for small clusters of students.
Types of task: various gearboxes (included shifted ones), some mechanisms, partial drives, complex clutches etc.
Preparing of input materials and literatures, retrievals. The first design.
Assembly sketch, the first preliminary calculations of the system.
Printing of preliminary results of computers calculations – shafts, gearings, bearings.
Discussion of the first graphic outputs (on the PC monitor).
Printing of the drawings and technical documentation, the last adjustments.
The defense of the project.
