Summary
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic attributes of industrial design creation and to support the emergence of necessary habits, thought processes and acquire basic skills. The aim is also to emphasize the need to respect the technical, operational and technological aspects of design work.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Ensure understanding of the disscused topics. To teach students to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in design practice.
Course Contents
1-2. Assignment of task-design of simple industrial product design, problem analysis, obtaining background and information
3. – 4. Design sketches, corrections, model sketches
4. – 5. More designs and sketches, model sketches, final version approval, model making
6. – 7. Model making, task assignment 2, additional correction, task 2 analysis
8. Defense of 1st task, 2nd task-suggestions and sketches
9. – 10. Suggestions and sketches for task 2, model sketches, final variant approval
11. – 14. Model making, additional correction, completion of the second task and submission, defense of the second task (studio work)
