Summary
At the end of the course students should be able to understand the interaction of image and text, work with bitmap image and find different possibilities of its application, search for their own visual expression of given topics, use acquired knowledge when working on specific practical tasks in the field of applied graphics carriers, book covers, custom catalogs), where students can also use their skills from other disciplines (photography, graphics, painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.), using Adobe Photoshop software at a basic level.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Ensure understanding of the disscused topics. To teach students to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in design practice.
Course Contents
1. Introduction to the problem of bitmap image, assignment of semestral work
2. Search of given topic, presentation, discussion
3-6. Basics of bitmap graphics, SW
7–11. Study of assigned task, suggestions, variants, solutions, discussion
12-13. Design processing for printing, final printing
14. Presentation and defense of semestral work, discussion
