Summary |
---|
Drives belong to the basic elements of industrial and service robots, manipulators, peripheral devices, mechatronic and biorobotic devices and many other devices. The aim of this course is to acquaint students with basic properties of power units, procedures of their selection and relevant calculations. Energy sources are directly related to drives. Another aim of the course is to acquaint students with procedures for selecting appropriate sources of energy and overall with given problematics. Graduates of this course will acquire the ability to design suitable power units, power sources and necessary accessories.
