Summary
This course is a follow-up to the course Construction of robotic subsystems 1. Students will be acquainted with the design of industrial and service robots. Furthermore, they will be acquainted with selected elements of robots and procedures of their design and control calculations. The graduate of the course will get an idea of the design of selected robot nodes and the knowledge needed to select suitable construction elements.

11. Pneumatic drive units – introduction to the issue

2. Analysis of available planetary, harmonic and cycloid gearboxes
3. Analysis of available bearings and linear guides, procedures of their design
4. Analysis of electric drive units used in robotics, procedures of their design

6. Analysis of available hydraulic drive units, procedures of their design
