Summary
The subject is designed for students of the last year of study and as such aims to supplement the gaps in knowledge in the themes wich are required in practice, but on wich in the other subjects during the studying not remain enough time. The main objective is to acquaint students with the latest technologies used in the practice in area of transformation and data processing. Students will gain a comprehensive overview of information's technologies wich are built on XML and database technologies (client-server) etc. An integral part of the course is also an area of ​​wireless WiFi networks, that is focuses on the issues of building and administering a wireless networks.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

Course Contents
1. LAN, WAN, Internetworking - role of individual layers of ISO / OSI model in computer networks.
2. IP Addressing and VLSM, IP address, address classes, subnet masks and subnet addressing, IPv4 vs. IPv6.
3. Network device administration - router and switch configuration.
4. Static and dynamic routing in computer networks, routing protocols, properties, usage, configuration.
5. TCP/IP, creation of own communication protocol
6. Creating a Windows application using its own communication protocol
7. Technology of client access to SQL server data (ADO. NET, WCF)
8. Creating windows client to SQL by using ADO.NET I
9. Creating windows client to SQL by using ADO.NET II
10. Creating windows client to SQL by using WCF
11. Wireless network WiFi (protocols and equipments, antenna systems, issues of signal propagation)
12. Security of WiFi networks
