Summary
The course is intended for students of the bachelor's degree in transport. It deals with the basic technological processes in railway transport, their essence, knowledge of the connections that influence the creation of technology.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Acquaintance of students with the general principles for the creation of transport technologies, the specifics of the creation of transport technologies in the context of individual types of transport and basic technological processes in railway transport.
Course Contents
1. Technologies for land transport (meaning, general principles for their creation, factors influencing their creation)
2. General structure of technology (operation, activity, act, continuity, use of network analysis methods for managing technological
process)
3. Basics of railway security technology
4. Planning of activities within railway transport operations
5. - 6. Local technological processes (technology for train formation and displacement in transport facilities with track branching, in interstation sections, on lines with an established simplified way of managing rail traffic)
7. - 10. Chart of train traffic
11. - 13. Network technological processes (passenger train formation, freight train formation)
14. Reserve for current topics in the field of railway transport
