Summary
The course is based on module 031 - Weights and Balances. The content is focused on the issue of weight planning and balancing of transport aircraft. Comprehensive knowledge of all factors affecting the planning of weights and balance of the aircraft during transport IFR flight, including regulatory requirements, is one of the basic requirements for flight safety.
The student will acquire competencies in the field of loading, weight calculations and balancing of transport aircraft in the planning of transport IFR flight and basic calculations associated with it to the extent that allows him to pass ATPL exams at the Prague Civil Aviation Authority.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The goal is for students to achieve the necessary competencies to focus on the issue of comprehensive planning and conduct of flights in commercial aviation. Completion of this course is part of the theoretical training to acquire pilot licence.
