Summary
The principles of transport business and business activity in transport company. The problems of transport services in a branch of service. Planning of work, working time in transport. Personnel policy of transport company. Costs and income of a transport company, price setting, managerial control of transport company as a whole. Marketing in transport and marketing mix.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
To analyze the sorts of transport business. To recognize and formulate the problems of traffic and transport processes in a transport company and transport service in the field of service. To summarize issues of work running study and working time in transport and evaluate effects and impacts from designed changes. To propose the optimal structure of costs and income in transport. To evaluate the marketing strategy of various models. Acquirements will be demonstrated by solving a semester project.
