Summary |
---|
At the beginning of the course, students are introduced to the system of handling measurement products as a starting point for innovative development of the field in comparison with the European Union. Systems and possibilities of protection and authorization of experimentally obtained data and final innovative products. Evaluation of measured data according to the intention (quality assurance, measurement of assembly dimensions of equipment, experiments for research purposes in the field of transport and process equipment).
Application of typical procedures and measuring devices to obtain information on the suitability of transport and process equipment to perform the required operational function. Evaluation of measured data in terms of the direction of the next innovation cycle of the respective structural node. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
By completing this course, students should acquire the following skills:
- identify transport systems operating on the basis of Euler's relations,
- set up experimental measuring equipment to determine the coefficients of fiber friction,
- quantify the effect of tension force and inclination on the slippage of friction discs / drums,
- identify the vacuum and overpressure pneumatic conveying system,
- identify the load on storage systems and find critical points,
- to set up an experimental measuring device to determine the magnitude of the tension force of the rope systems,
- identify suitable construction materials for chutes and gutters in gravity transport.
By completing this course, students should be competent to:
- basic design calculations of simple transport and process systems. |
