Summary
After completing the course, the student will gain a basic overview of the production and operation of current aircraft operated by airlines. They will get acquainted with the principles of operation of air carriers and will be able to define the criteria for selecting the appropriate type of aircraft for the required airline.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the use of current aircraft technology and the operation of their operators.

1. Aircraft division.
2. Typology of aircraft technology (civil, cargo).
3. Analysis of technical parameters of aircraft technology.
4. Analysis of performance parameters of aircraft technology.
5. Life cycle of aircraft technology.
6. Manufacturers of aircraft technology.
7. Operators of aircraft technology - division, activity, cooperation.
8. Aircraft operators - strategy and management of the line network.
9. Operators of aircraft technology - aircraft fleet and its operability.
10. Technical security of the passenger transport process.
11. Technical security of cargo transport process.
12. Economic indicators of aircraft technology operation.
13. Analysis of criteria for selection of a suitable type of aircraft for selected air traffic.
14. Methods of selecting the appropriate airplane type for the selected air traffic.
