Ensuring uptime and reliability is a key task of each process, ie. maintenance becomes necessary hodnotovýn each stream of production and have it understood as a process-technical work, which has its inevitable processes and must be managed as a process. An integral part of the operation is correct and safe operation of machines, both in terms of their operational deployment, performance, security policies dodžení proper operation and legislation, etc.

Aim to familiarize students with the organization and management of the maintenance process as one of the technical activities ortoprocesů each production. 5. Benchmarking and outsourcing in maintenance, maintenance personnel use study.
6. Manager risk operation, audit quality maintenance management.
7. Reengineering system design and maintenance, trends in maintenance.
8. Organization and methods of maintenance management, control inspection and audit activities maintenance.
9. Tribology and tribotechnika, technical diagnostics, maintenance, logistics.
10. Dismantling and assembly procedures and products, repair and renovation operation, user maintenance.
11. Maintenance Manager and work with human resources in maintenance, expertise, education, motivation.
12. Dependability-its quantification, renewal theory, classification of disorders.
