Summary
Students will get acquainted with basic concepts in the field of operational reliability, mathematical methods for determining and evaluating operational reliability, probability theory. Furthermore, they will gain knowledge about the residual life of machine parts and the application of cumulative damage hypotheses.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The acquisition of knowledge concerning the methods of operational reliability.
Mathematical modeling component life (time to failure).

2. Object tracking, quality engineering products.
3. Utility of the product and its relationship to quality.
4. Reliability engineering products.
5. Phenomena and product.
6. Classification of failures.
7. Wear and its impact on reliability.
8. Characteristics of indicators of the technical condition.
9. Basic types of mechanical systems in relation to failure.
10. Optimization solutions, restoration of functional areas.
11. Introduction to the life of the machines.
12. Life in relation to the material used.
13. Methods of mechanical part of the solution.
14. Residual life.
