Goal is the interpretation of basics and principles of design of new or innovative technical systems and their applications for analysis and synthesis tasks in engineering practice. |
Course Contents |

1. Engineering activities and process of mechanical design; current trends and contexts.
2. Design engineering; Requirements of industrial practice; Model of engineering design process, procedures and methods; Algorithms vs. intuition.
3. Team Work Principals.
4. Product life cycle.
5. Tendencies of development of technical systems. Tendencies of innovations.
6. Model of technical system/process components and SW tools.
7. Model of technical system/process structure and functions. SW tools.
8. Fine-tuning of the technical system by components reduction and additional functions development. SW tools.
9. Contradictions in invention tasks. Typal inventive task.
10. Methodology for overcoming technical contradictions and SW tools.
11. Methodology for overcoming physical contradictions and SW tools.
12. Invention Machine SW tools supporting the inventive process.
13. Examples of TRIZ methodology outputs.
