Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic applications of automation and information technology to manage preparation technology. The course builds on the knowledge of control theory and develops the knowledge by the exmaples in coal, mineral or water processing and automation. The students are acquainted with the management at the managerial level control, processing and presentation of information and complex control of the expedition and sales. Students gain knowledge about control of preparation technologies, design and deployment of information systems and knowledge of management principles at all control levels.
Course Contents
Technological treatment units, water treatment as a cybernetic system, preparation process automation, sensors and sensors in the treatment plants.
Identification and modeling of technological processes preparation nodes.
Automation centers and crushers.
Automation in coal preparation and separating devices.
Automation flotation and filtration.
Automation of homogenization and washed shipping products.
Automation auxiliary operations.
The use of computers in the ACS TP, PLC control systems, automatic control system of coal mine water treatment at Mine Darkov.
Wastewater treatment, control loop sewage.
SCADA systems and their applications in treatment plants, InTouch
Hierarchical and distributed control systems and their applications in treatment.
Measurement parameters and non-technological variables in preparation processes.
Linguistic models and innovative methods of technological processes.
