Summary
The course of “Rating of Technological Processes” focuses on the information
on rating methods of data obtained in the course of mineral resources
processing. Students will be acquainted with the construction of a
dressability HR-curve and M-curve and cumulative curves of dressability.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
This subject deals with the ways of evaluating data to determine the treatability of primary and secondary raw materials. Students will get through this subject a comprehensive overview of methodologies assessing the effectiveness of raw material processing.

1) Basic terms of raw materials processing
2) Grain size analysis and assessment of technological indicators of sieve analysis
3) Grain size analysis of very fine particles - sedimentation analysis
4) Grading and assessment of technological indicators
5) The technologies separation of raw materials
6) Float and sink test and its evaluation
7) Washability (HR)-curves of raw materials processing
8) Construction of HR-curves of raw materials processing
9) Use of HR-curves of raw materials processing
10)Curves of Floatability
