Summary
The instruction is intended for beginners. Its aim is to master the sound and graphic aspect of Russian (practising Russian alphabet, pronunciation, stress, intonation), to acquire elementary knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary and using it while communication practice for everyday situation.
The aim is to acquire language skills with the output level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to acquire a grounding of contemporary Russian for further study of the language - practising reading, writing in Russian alphabet, mastering phonetic and intonation particularities of Russian. Acquiring elementary vocabulary and grammar structures and practising them. Practicing elementary phrases for communication.

1. Introduction. Cyrillic alphabet. Stress.
2. Noun declension. Reading and writing.
3. Cyrillic alphabet II. Reading and writing.
4. Cyrillic alphabet III. Reading and writing.
5. Posessive наш, этот. Infinitive question.
6. Cyrillic alphabet IV. Intonation. Fluent reading and pronunciation.
7. Past tense. Formal addressing. Question words.
8. Soft sounds. to have
9. Cyrillic alphabet V. Pronouns. Vocabulary, phrases.
10. Stress. Foreign words.
11. Posessive pronouns. Adverbs.
12. Revision. Reading.
13. Lexical and grammar exercises L1-L7.
14. Credit test.
