Summary
The purpose of this subject is to outline to students the legal principles of
mining low - whether they will be mining eng., geologists, minerals
surveyors or other specialists in general practice. It is based on the three
actual low in the Czech mining industry - Mining Act nr. 44/88, Exploitation
and Mining Act nr. 61/88, Geological Act nr. 62/88. Beside of it the
subject contents the summary of other mining leg. and its appl..
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The goal of the subject is to create the ability of students to analyse and to judge of application of information in the field of minimg legislation.
Course Contents
Normative legal acts, generally binding regulations, the legislative process,
validity and effectiveness of legislation, advertising, numbering and publishing

· Integration State of the mining - the State Mining Authority, Ministry of
Industry and Trade, Ministry of Environment
· rules in the top right of the main themes.
· Protection of mineral resources and work safety standards in the legal

· mining activities and activities carried out by mining
· Mining Act, the main roads, additions
· Mining Act - mineral wealth, minerals, deposits, obligations
organizations in the use of reserved deposit, the obligation
The Law on Geological, related regulations.
· Rational use of reserve deposits, mining permitting and reporting
activities
Plan of mining and preparation for opening
· Reimbursement and financial reserves related to mining activities and the use of
resources.
• Get in the area of mining, certification of professional
eligibility, authorizations and permits for mining

· Examples of legislative requirements in the mining industry in the EU, U.S.A.
