Summary |
---|
The course introduces the basics of soil science as part of the ecosystem and its
environmental components. Teaching builds on geological subjects (geology,
mineralogy and petrography) and forms the basis for the study of soil protection. Teaching is
focused on pedogenic rocks, weathering and pedogenic processes, soil composition,
mineral phases in soils, organic matter in soil and basic soil properties
(physical and chemical). The course introduces the fundamentals of soil classification Republic (according to Unified soil classification system. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Knowledge rendered after the end of the course: The student will be teaching the basics of soil as part of the ecosystem and its environmental component. Teaching builds on geological subjects (geology, mineralogy and petrography) and establishes a foundation for studying other subjects such Remediation Technologies, Environmental Risk, Monitoring Systems.
Skills rendered after completion of the course: After completing the course the student should control the pedogenic rocks, weathering and pedogenic processes, soil composition, mineral phases in soils, organic matter in soil and basic soil properties. |
