Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The goal of the subject is to acquaint the students with the problems of nature conservation. The students will learn in practical exercises the skills based on the competencies of environmental engineer. |

2. Concept nature conservation.
3. Legislative framework of the nature conservation in the Czech Republic.
4. International conventions, initiatives and programs in nature conservation.
5. International non-governmental nature conservation organizations.
6. Geodiversity and conservation.
7. Biodiversity and conservation.
8. Endangered ecosystems in the world and in the Czech Republic.
9. Development of protection of cultural monuments in the world and in the Czech Republic.
10. The state conservation, related legislation, the concept preservation of cultural monuments.
11. International conventions, institutions and organizations in the protection of monuments, the issue "Cultural tourism".
12. Endangered monuments in the world and in the country.
13. Historic Parks and Gardens - the historical context in the world, Europe and Czech Republic. |
