Summary |
---|
The main goal of the subject is acquiring of knowledges from modern remediation technologies, which are oriented to soil decontamination and underground water decontamination. The understanding of technological principles – thermic methods, physico-chemical methods, bioremediation. Analysis for determination of achievable limits for decontamination on the basis of evaluation of technology effectiveness and bulk environmental load of the area. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
Comparison of utilization of remediation technologies with identification of most effective technology from the basis of pollutants elimination and economical effectiveness. Identification of optimal technology on the basis of comparison of technological procedures in the past. The evaluation of effectiveness of technology for selected pollutants and determination their limits in relationship to the economical effectiveness and natural condition of environment. |
