Summary |
---|
The goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with the knowledge of
the base information about characteristics of minerals resources, their
deposits, methods of exploitation, development, surface mining and utilization
of minerals in an industry. Last but not least, attention will be paid to a
structure of a surface mining firm, location of mineral deposits, base
properties of row minerals and environment in which the mining and mineral
processing will be done. |

Course Contents |

1st The concept of sectoral studies, the importance of field and subject of study, application of practice. Organization Structure and localization of mineral quarries benefiting Construction materials in the CR.
2nd Mineral resources, the nature of deposits, environmental conditions affecting
mining and useing of bearings.
3rd Basic technical terms quarry mining deposits.
4th Systemic distribution of quarry mining. Phase of the process at removes material.
5th Mechanization of mining works in the fracture conquest.
6th Drilling and blasting in quarry operations.
7th Quarry mining coal and ore deposits - the differences and particularities technological processes.
8th Types of transport and transport equipment for quarry operations of mineral
construction materials.
9th Stockpiling and piles economy.
10th Technology of surface mining of mineral deposits building cohesive materials.
11th Technology loose surface mining of mineral construction materials.
12th Fundamentals adjustment mined raw materials.
13th Safety, hygiene and humanization of technological processes in mining and processing of mineral building materials.
14th Smoothing of quarry operations and environmental protection. |
