Summary
Basic role in the geometric interpretation of commercial deposits of minerals such as basis for addressing design, early development and preparatory work. Methods calculation of the deposit and the methodology of calculation of deposit stock.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Methods of findings geometrical and qualitative materials for shape determination, size and qualification of the deposit towards the economical utilization.

Course Contents
Lectures:
1. Mapping of deposit in the help of drilling exploration.
2. Shape and size of the abissal drilling, basic determination of the drill.
3. Methods and equipment used for determining of shape and course of drill.
4. Deposit thickness, thickness types and mutual relation between them.
5. Fold and its geometrical parameters.
6. Qualification of folds.
7. Geometrical parameters of fault.
8. Geometrical qualification of fault.
9. Surface size determination.
10. Volume determination.
11. Calculation of deposit stock.

Excercises:
1. Graphical determination of the drilling shape.
2. Calculation of drilling surface.
3. Calculation of drilling volume.
4. Calculation of deposit stock and its clasification.
