Summary |
---|
The course is focused on mastering basic concepts important for hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical modelling of groundwater. Preparation and creation of models. Chemical, physical and mathematical modelling in programs Surfer, WellCAD, MODFLOW, PHREEQC, AquaChem, ArcGIS. Methodology - introduction to the problem, creation of conceptual model, input data, program selection, data processing and implementation model. Examples of applications and use in risk analysis. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The aim of this course is to introduce students to computer programs in hydrogeology, groundwater hydrochemical and hydraulic terms of their use in the treatment of real hydrogeological data and consequently their practical application. |
