Summary
The subject links up to language skills in Russian acquired at secondary school. The instruction is intended for beginners. Its aim is to master the sound and graphic aspect of Russian (practising Russian alphabet, pronunciation, stress, intonation), to acquire elementary knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary and using it while communication practice for everyday situation.
The aim is to acquire language skills with the output level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Acquiring general language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing at the elementary level - enriching vocabulary, learning grammar structures and practising them, practicing phrases in telephoning, adequate reactions to foreign language exposure, the ability to hold a monologue/dialogue.
Course Contents
Russian for self-learners and perpetual beginners.
1.In a restaurant (В ресторане). Inanimate indeclinable nouns.
2.Use of the word туда. Declination of personal pronouns.
3.Conjugation of verbs сказать, ходить.
4.Conjugation of verbs like говорить.
5. Where will we live? (Где мы будем жить?). Declination of singular soft nouns.
6. Conjugation of verbs жить, мочь. Preposition „o“ with a word beginning in a vowel.
7. Leisure (Свободное время). Conjucation of verbs –овать/- евать.
8. Conjugation of reflexive verbs. Declination of singular possessive pronouns.
9. Declination of singular feminine nouns ending in a soft consonant. Talking about hobbies.
10. How can I get to…? (Как добраться...?). Expressing need/neccessity in Russian.
11. Conjugation of verbs искать, вернуть/вернуться. Use of infinitive sentences. Formation of adverbs. Expression of approximity.
12. Credit test.
