Summary |
---|
The course focuses on the disintegration of the rocks during the excavation of underground buildings by the so-called classical technology by means of drilling and blasting works. He is acquainted with the range of means of blasting techniques, the ignition of the charge and the methodology for determining the basic parameters of the blasts during the mining of the underground works. Further, the subject is focused on the mining and reinforcement of underground works. It deals with the determination of basic parameters for excavation (size and shape of the work, assessment of geotechnical conditions of the rock environment). The subject acquaints with underground technology of reinforcement, bolting and injection of rocks. In particular, he acquaints with classical embossing technology using drilling and blasting work, and also deals with mechanized embossing with boring machines, tunneling machines and drilling boreholes. It is focused on horizontal works of various shapes and sizes, mined in different conditions (depth, purpose, safety, anomalies of the rock environment). The issue of excavation and digging of vertical works is discussed only marginally. Learning outcomes of the course unit The student will acquire the basic knowledge for the determination of the complex technological procedure with the design of the machinery and material equipment of excavation, settlement, determination of the technological times of the basic and auxiliary operations of the excavation cycle resulting from the timing of the excavation. They will learn the dimensions of basic types of reinforcement structures (wood, steel, studs, concrete). Also included is the valid safety legislation for underground excavation. |
